As a tutor at StudyGo, your primary responsibilities are tutoring or mentoring high school students. You'll do this online (from home) and one-on-one or in small groups. You'll also answer questions via chat and moderate the forum.
For almost 15 years, Futurewhiz has been the market leader in EdTech in the Netherlands. With brands like Squla and StudyGo, we help children and teens aged 3 to 18 learn and grow in a way that suits them. Our mission revolves around growth: "Let every child grow." At Squla , children up to and including grade 8 practice all school subjects with fun quizzes and games, developed by education experts and aligned with the Dutch education system. StudyGo is the platform for high school students to prepare for tests and simplify schoolwork. From learning vocabulary to tutoring, StudyGo offers a complete platform. Approximately 1 million children a year use Squla or StudyGo, either at home or at school.
StudyGo (formerly WRTS) is the online platform for high school students to prepare for tests and exams. From learning vocabulary and completing assignments to chatting with tutors and participating in group lessons, we offer a complete toolset to help students succeed. With over 650,000 annual users, StudyGo has become one of the leading digital platforms for secondary education.
Provides tutoring to students (individually or in small groups)
Explains complex material clearly and step by step
Helps students not just with answers, but with insight and thinking steps
Answers content-related questions via chat
Keep an eye on the forum, in addition to AI moderation
Guarantees the quality of explanations and guidance on the platform
Tutoring is a significant part of the role. Tutoring at StudyGo is evolving and adapting to new forms of support. One-on-one coaching sessions are being tested, with a greater focus on learning how to learn rather than simply transferring knowledge. This requires flexibility and a willingness to be comfortable in a constantly evolving role.
Student WO ( mathematics/biology/geography )
Excellent written and oral command of Dutch
Familiar with mathematics/biology/geography or willing to learn this
Demonstrable ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way and to adapt them at different levels
Certificate of Good Conduct (we will request this for you)
A safe and reliable workplace, the work is completely remote
Pré: Experience with moderating online communities or forums
A gross salary between €388 per month (for 6 hours per week) - €648 per month (for 10 hours per week)
