Hopper Engineering and Consultancy BV is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Amsterdam with over 20 years of international experience. The main office is located at Veembroederhof 97 (Amsterdam) with a focus on complex projects in extreme geographical environments.

Mission & Services

Core Sectors: Civil/structural engineering, Advanced Structural Analyses, Oil & Gas.

Specializations: Large-scale structural design, advanced seismic analysis, numerical modeling (3D models, hand calculations), retrofit assessments for existing buildings, and optimization of seismic protection measures. 

Approach: Strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver "ideas that challenge the laws of physics," with integrated services including BIM drafting, cost estimation, and stakeholder coordination.

 What are you going to do?

During your internship, you'll participate in various phases of our projects. You'll have the opportunity to:

• 3D Modelling of structures in Revit;
• 3D Modelling in structural software (FEM and AEM)
• Design of new foundations or retrofit of existing foundations;
• Soil Structure interaction;
• To attend meetings with clients and senior staff.
