Are you passionate about cloud technology and software engineering? Do you want to become an expert in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)? 

As an Intern, you will join our team of experienced developers and data specialists. You won't just be watching from the sidelines; you will be trained to develop scalable, maintainable software solutions and data-driven processes. We offer a structured environment where you will learn to leverage serverless products, integrate high-quality engineering practices, and become a certified Google Cloud professional.

What You Will Learn & Do

During this Internship, you will work alongside senior developers to grow your skills in the following areas:

• Cloud Development: Learn to create efficient and scalable solutions within a defined architectural framework using Google Cloud.

• Data Engineering: Assist in developing and implementing data integration solutions, building data pipelines, and performing data transformations.

• Agile Collaboration: Learn to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team using the SCRUM methodology to plan, deliver, and review work iteratively.

• Infrastructure as Code: Learn how to implement "everything as code" using Terraform for better traceability and maintainability.

• CI/CD & Quality: Gain hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines and learn how to validate solutions against business needs.

• Security: Learn how to integrate security and data protection best practices into every solution you build.

• Personal Growth: Dedicate time to studying for and obtaining your Google Cloud certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer, Data Engineer, etc.).

Who Are We Looking For?

You don't need to know everything yet, but you need the right foundation and the drive to learn.

Profile & Core Skills

• Programming: Basic knowledge or practical experience in Java or Python and SQL.

• Cloud Familiarity: Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Mindset: You have a strong affinity for cloud technology and data. You are curious, analytical, and eager to solve complex problems.

• Collaboration: You possess excellent communication and effective collaboration skills, allowing you to work smoothly within the team and with clients.

Nice to Haves

• Theoretical knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Experience with scripting (Shell) or version control (Git).

Requirements

• Reside in the Netherlands.

• EU Citizenship is required (we cannot process non-EU applicants for this traineeship).

• Fluency in English (written and spoken); Dutch language skills are a significant plus.

• Duration: 4 months

• Employment time: Full-time

• Working hours: 40 hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM)

• Trainership fee: € 350 Net expenses

• Assets: MacBook or ChromeBook

• Mentorship: Work in an international environment with a vibrant social support network and direct guidance from senior experts.

• Certification Path: We cover the costs and provide time for technical courses and Google Cloud certifications.

• Office-Based Learning: Work 5 days a week from our vibrant Rotterdam office to ensure optimal collaboration and learning support.
