As an intern at MarineSecure, you will have the chance to gain valuable experience in the maritime security sector. As our new Service Delivery Project Manager (intern), your primary role will be to ensure the eff ective management and execution of IT projects and services, maintaining high-performance levels and optimizing service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee IT project and service delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and high-performance levels.
Manage the ICT support desk and client projects for optimal service.
Handle critical incidents, coordinating with relevant parties and conducting post-incident reviews.
Implement and maintain systems and procedures that support excellent service delivery.
Understand projects deeply to gain insights into service delivery scope.
Be accountable for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand.
Analyse and optimize both third-party and internal service delivery processes.
Assist in planning and executing both internal and external projects, including project budgeting, resource alignment, and research activities.
Create, update, and perform project-related tasks.
Develop and monitor performance metrics, project management processes, and business operations.
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
Study in an ICT discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Some experience working with IT teams in a customer-facing role is a pre.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
Exceptional organizational and task management skills.
Proven problem-solving and resource planning abilities.
Fluency in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and JIRA.
Valid work permit for an EU country, preferably the Netherlands.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Certification in PMP/PRINCE2 is a plus.
Understanding of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
Experience in an Agile work environment.
Familiarity with project management methodologies like Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban.
A strong grasp of IT service delivery and project management best practices.
