About spriteCloud: We’re a dedicated software testing company in Amsterdam. “A dedicated…what?” I hear you say! Well, in a nutshell, we test software (mobile and web applications, eCommerce platforms, games and digital campaigns) on a broad selection of devices before they are released to the general public to check everything is working as it should, and is of top quality before it is launched to customers.

We work for a wide-range of companies, from big international retailers like Heineken, Suit Supply and CitizenM hotels, to smaller companies and digital agencies, like GripAble or RESN. But, like any company, we need more exposure, more sales, and more marketing power to show what we do, and why companies should choose us! 

That’s where you come in! We’re looking for a proactive Sales & Marketing intern to tell us what to look for, and to actually implement your findings. No, this is not just boring research where your paper ends up in a bottom shelf - you will have a big impact on spriteCloud!

So if you want the opportunity to work with international clients and colleagues, gaining experience in the field that you wish to work in, having an added value within the commercial team and direct lines with the management team, then this is your chance!  

Responsibilities: 

  • Take ownership of our CRM (HubSpot)
    • Make the data more insightful for the sales and marketing team
    • Get the CRM in prime condition to facilitate prospect gathering
  • Support the Marketing Manager with our social media & online/offline strategy
    • Prepare marketing material for online campaigns
    • Pitch, and execute, new marketing campaigns
    • Creating or revamping our PowerPoint presentation decks for all service lines in which we can work 
  • Updating the post agenda, taking into account notable activities in our company
  • Content creation
    • Blogs, images, pictures, videos
  • Showing a proactive attitude toward helping our website reach its full potential
  • Creating marketing material for new service lines (Virtual Reality, Security, Offshore)
  • Having a proactive attitude in addressing and identifying new marketing opportunities
  • Work together with external vendors if required
  • Freedom to (co-)organise (social) events in the office

Requests: 

  • Strong social media knowledge
    • Willing to own the social media content
    • Editing / Photoshop skills 
    • Knowledge and experience about creating infographics 
  • SEO/SEA basic knowledge 
  • Website content management (WebFlow)
  • A basic understanding of digital marketing 
  • Experience in basic sales (no enterprise experience required)
  • Comfortable on the phone
    • Big plus if you’re comfortable speaking to clients if needed
  • Good social skills - you’ll be talking to people as part of your job 
  • Good research skills - you’ll need to find out a lot of information to help us be a better company 
  • Have a can-do attitude, and be someone that takes ownership of work and sees it through 
  • You will need to be fluent in Dutch and working proficiency in English
